Eva Schenkman, TS (ABB), CLT (NYS):
Eva is an Embryologist for the laboratory of Park Avenue Fertility and Reproductive Medicine. Eva is a highly skilled and experienced Embryologist since 1996. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Animal Science from Cornell University, and is licensed by the State as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist and licensed by the American Board of Bioanalysts as a Technical Supervisor in the subspecialty of embryology. She is certified as a CAP laboratory inspector by the College of American Pathology. Currently, Eva is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Embryology at the Jones Institute, Eastern Virginia Medical School, in Norfolk, Virginia.
Eva has published abstracts and publications that include subjects such as, human development to the Blastocyst stage, ICSI, Assisted Hatching, and Cryopreservation. She was a speaker for the American Fertility Association at the International Infertility and Adoption Conference in 2002, and hosts on-line chat rooms on a wide range of topics related to the laboratory side of infertility. Eva is a professional member of the NY Reproductive Medical Society, NY Metropolitan Embryology Society, American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART), and American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB).
